'Senior Valuer and Jewellery Specialist, Sophie has a broad knowledge in all collecting fields, having worked in auction houses for almost twenty years, having trained at Christies, she has worked at Phillips and then Bonhams as well as with the V and A and the Wallace Collection, before coming to Stamford. She has developed an extensive specialist knowledge in jewellery and silver particularly, as well as textiles, lace and vintage / antique clothing, ballistic weaponry and armour, and the rarely seen antiquities, and tribal art.

A great interest of Sophie's lies in equine, canine and marine art, developing from a knowledge being built over many years and including experience gained at Langfords Marine Antiques.
